Manufacturer announces it will preload digital gaming service onto all machines

High end gaming PC manufacturer Alienware has today announced that all of its future machines will be preloaded with the digital download service/ game management application Steam.

In addition to this the company will also be loading a copy of Valve developed classic first person action puzzle solver Portal on every machine manufactured.

Although pricey, Alienware, now owned by Dell, is renowned for producing high-end gaming PCs and notebooks – competing against the likes of Dell’s XPS range.
Alienware is currently available in South Africa through a number of small retailers so it is expected that this strategy will be passed on to local buyers.

Ye, I noticed these options when I specced my rig. Thought it's a nice idea. Plus, they already give so many other customizable options, it's almost ridiculous. Almost.
