MyGaming lists the best first person shooters of the year

It’s no secret that the gaming community at large loves their first person shooters. From the early days of Wolfenstein 3D and Doom to the more graphically and technically advanced innovators such as Crysis Warhead and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the genre has captured the hearts (and wallets) of millions around the world.

In a recent My Gaming poll 34% of all respondents answered that the FPS was their favourite genre, second only to RPGs with 35%.
