Annual Video Game Award winners announced
2009’s Spike TV annual Video Game Awards were officially announced this weekend with a number of celebrities from in and outside the gaming world attending to present the awards.
Leading this year with the most nominations was PS3 exclusive Uncharted 2 with eight nominations, Batman: Arkham Asylum with seven and The Beatles: Rock Band with two.

Starcraft 2 was more anticipated than God of War 3 in my opinion. There has been alot of outrage at the postponement of Starcraft and almost no mention of God of War. But I only own a PC and the awards were a reflection of games on all major platforms - so I may have a biased view.
