First package, entitled ‘Dark Forest’ arrives in March

Publishers Electronic Arts have officially confirmed the existence of two downloadable content packages for upcoming action adventure title Dante’s Inferno after details behind one of the packages was leaked this week.

The first package, entitled 'Dark Forest', will become available in March and will bring "a prequel level that tells the story of Dante's journey home and features new enemies, puzzles and relics,". The second package will be released towards the end of April and will be entitled 'Trials of St. Lucia'. This will add a new playable character, online co operative play and a combat trials editor to the game.

According to Shack News later packages will include "souls, skins, relics and magics to further boost players on their journeys through Hell". Although ‘Dark Forest’ will be available for free on PS3 as part of the ‘Divine Edition’ Xbox 360 users will be required to pay. No pricing information has yet been announced.
