PC gamers get open beta access in March

Unlike the stingy folk over at Blizzard who are letting  only a select few partake in their StarCraft II beta, Ubisoft has announced that a fully playable open public beta for its upcoming RTS RUSE will launch on March 9 2010.

The Beta will operate via Valve’s Steam service, and anyone will be able to download it and take part. There has been no PS3 or Xbox 360 beta announced.

The game boast an impressive looking engine, and an innovative approach to the RTS genre. Players will have to take advantage of stealth, and employ devious tactics to be successful. This will involve deceiving enemies by using decoys and other sneaky tactics.

The full game is now scheduled for release around June 3 2010, and will be available for PS3, PC and Xbox 360.
