Xbox Live’s Major Nelson account hacked
It’s no secret that gamers across various platforms frequently encounter hackers. Whether it be World of Warcraft account details being stolen, or simply low life scumbags ruining your Modern Warfare 2 session, the world of gaming is filled with hackers who want to spoil your fun.
Well if it makes you feel any better, hack attacks are not restricted to regular gamers, and the recent hacking of Xbox Live figurehead Major Nelson’s Xbox Live account proves it.

Larry Hryb AKA "Major Nelson" is seen by many as the face of Xbox Live, and the fact that his account has been hacked proves that it can happen to anyone.
lightzz.com is claiming responsibility for the hack, and has even posted a Youtube video proving their handiwork. The person claiming responsibility uses the Skype name Roid-Monkey, so feel free to spam and harass him, just like thousands of unimpressed gamers around the world are doing today.
Incedentally, lightzz.com is registed to someone called Yasiel Rodriguez from Miami Florida. We expect Mr Rodriguez will be receiving a visit from the authorities fairly soon.

Subscribe to comments feedI don't see any reason to arrest this guy as he came out clean (hopefully not for bragging rights) but to show how poor the security features are.
